Some Lessons are Harder than Others

Taking a disappointing situation and using it as a life lesson isn’t easy, but it is normally necessary. Instead of being upset over a current situation, ask yourself “what can I take away from this?” Do NOT beat yourself up about it. I’m going to tell you about a situation that has been thrown my way.

I went to an event and made a good amount of friends, or so I thought. These “friends” have shown their true colors in the last few days. This really had me down, and then I realized, this situation has really saved me so much time and trouble. I wasn’t invested into these people yet, but I am still hurt by their actions. Thankfully, they showed their true personalities early in this friendship, it makes closing the door so much easier. I try to be a forgiving and understanding person, but I don’t allow others to walk all over me.

I am not the same person I was in high school, or even yesterday! Take the time to get to know someone before believing what you hear. If you don’t want to get to know them, simply ask them if what you were told is true or not. Consider the source where you heard it from before judging.  The truth is always interesting!

Life is too short to stay mad, upset, or anything but happy! What comes around, truly goes around. I have too much to do and too many different things to focus on to stay hung up on immature people!

I’m sorry this blog may have been a little scattered! There are so many things to say!

Thank you for reading!
